detectortesters audit trail traceability (pre-release status). An audit trail indicating who did what, and when, is useful both for reporting and co-ordination of site visits. detectortesters offers two types of solution:
  | 1. Scorpion, whereby the time to alarm as well as test dates are stored in each Scorpion device (associated with a given detector) and it can be interrogated remotely from the handset. 2. Testifire, which, when fitted with the optional Communications Module, provides the ability to read historical test data from, and write new data to, an RFID tag. This tag can be fitted on or behind a detector and communication with a PDA is achieved over a Bluetooth link. Loaded with appropriate software the PDA can provide downloadable reports and even back office integration. |
