 | A unique smoke detector test system whose permanently-installed micro smoke generator can be fitted between a point smoke detector and the ceiling or adjacent to the point smoke detector on the ceiling. This may be done either at first installation or retrospectively as a retrofit and is suitable for addressable or conventional detectors. It can be used either for semi-automated testing of entire loops or for remote testing of detectors (for example, where access to them is normally difficult, hindering routine testing). Suitable for applications from a single detector to a site with thousands, using Scorpion eliminates disruption to occupied areas while dramatically reducing test times and costs. Scorpion systems are also suitable for testing, calibration and pipe integrity tests of aspirating smoke detector (ASD) systems. |
