How do you test multi-sensor detectors?

With recent research proving they prevent false alarms and an increase in product choice – the number of multi-sensors being installed and requiring testing has risen significantly in the last two years.

So, how should multi-sensors be tested?

Testifire is the easiest and most productive way to achieve compliant testing in line with codes and standards. With the increased use of multi-sensor detectors, British Standards have responded with an update to BS:5839-1 which spells out how multi-sensors should be tested:
