Solo Access Pole - CPD Product Training

Whether you are a Solo or Testifire user, you will be familiar with our famous red access poles which enable testing of detectors at heights up to 9 metres.

Whilst relatively simple in design, there are a number of areas worth being aware of when using the poles and with this in mind; we are now able to offer online product training. Recently CPD certified by the FIA, the training focusses specifically on Solo height access poles – providing users with the chance to learn more about how the poles should be used before testing their knowledge with an online assessment.

What does it cover?

The session covers; awareness of health and safety directives, height access solutions and associated risks, benefits of height access poles, maximum working height, avoiding strain and injury, extending and lowering of the Solo poles, care and inspection of Solo poles.

How?

You can take the training anytime by visiting our website. You’ll need to sign-up for a user account and you will then be free to take the training. It should take no more than 30 minutes to complete and at the end of the session, if you pass the assessment, you will receive a certificate of training.

Whose it for?

As well as new engineers, the session is a perfect refresher for existing fire professionals and users of the Solo and Testifire ranges.
