No Access, No Excuses – Testing hard-to-access detectors and ASD systems (FIA CPD Certified)

It’s surprising how many buildings have detectors which are hard-to-access, either due to awkward siting or because of the activities which take place in the location they are protecting. This webinar demonstrates how these challenges can be overcome with the installation of Scorpion, a solution which is permanently fitted alongside the detector but allows for simple testing via a conveniently mounted access panel. The webinar will take you through the types of application Scorpion can benefit, the installation process and will also look at some case studies.

Testing Single & Multi-Sensor Detectors with Testifire (FIA CPD Certified)

The use of multi-sensors is on the rise and with that comes increased need to ensure they are tested correctly. This session looks at how, through the use of an all-in-one test tool, testing of both single and multi-sensor detectors can be achieved both quickly and compliantly. The content will cover a brief explanation of detectors and the standards that need to be followed when it comes to testing and will then look in more detail at Testifire and how it works to deliver testing of smoke, heat and CO.

The majority of our webinars offer at least 1 hour of CPD points to all those in attendance, in addition we are now able to offer a recording of the webinar to everyone in attendance. Webinars are delivered by Microsoft Teams and are led by familiar faces from our Training and Product Management team, including Paul Gatens and Anthony Partou.
